7-8 oct. 2025 Nantes (France)

Description

We are very happy to invite you to the 2nd edition the Single Cell Conference of Nantes:

Deciphering single cell interactions in health and disease”.

The conference will take place on October 7 and 8, 2025.

The “Deciphering single cell interactions in health and disease” conference will focus on the use of single cell analysis technologies to explore pathophysiological cellular mechanisms, with particular emphasis on research carried out by various research teams in Nantes, across all fields.

The symposium will bring together international and local experts to discuss recent advances and practical applications of new single-cell analysis methods, including spatial transcriptomics. The aim is to combine these innovative technologies to better understand underlying disease mechanisms, improve diagnostic and treatment strategies, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.

In addition to presentations by international and local guests, the conference is designed to be interactive, with selected oral presentations and a poster session.

Finally, a bioinformatics workshop dedicated to single-cell analysis, focussed on spatial data analysis this year, will take place on the second day.

The official language of the symposium is French but the lectures and presentations will be in English.

Workshop

A hands-on training in Bioinformatics « Analysis of Single Cell data: introduction to spatial data analysis » is proposed on the afternoon of the second day (14h-17h).

This workshop aims to give researchers a clear view of the process to analyse spatial omics.

The course will cover essential topics to plan and prepare a workflow for spatial data, including pre-processing techniques and quality control. By analysing toy datasets, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to plan and prepare a workflow to analyse spatial data.

Only 20 participants with a clear objective to analyse spatial data will be selected.

Registration is open !
